The event is scheduled from 8 a.m. to noon at Mount Carmel Hall, 56 River Road. Guests of all ages are welcome, and costumes are encouraged but not required. The club plans prizes for the best individual costume and best family costume.
Breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee and tea. The suggested donation is $10 per person or $25 per family.
The breakfast is one of the Rotary Club’s fall fundraising events. According to the organization, proceeds support local projects, scholarships and community initiatives. The morning’s Halloween timing creates a family-friendly option before the afternoon and evening’s usual holiday activities, while the costume element makes the established breakfast a little different from its previous editions.
Community breakfasts often bring together neighbors who may know the event through school, sports or local volunteer connections, as well as families looking for a low-key way to begin a busy day. This year’s format invites attendees to arrive in costume, share a meal and take part in the friendly competition.
